Vinnolit win the Polymer Producer Awards 2023

Vinnolit win the Polymer Producer…

On the 15th of February 2024, Polymers for Europe Alliance launched the annual votes for the polymers producers assessment. This year's edition focused on the following criteria: delivery reliability, circularity, quality, communication, innovation and commitment to the European Market (as the key criterion).

All users of polymers in Europe had until mid-May to vote and rate their suppliers' performances during the past 12 months.

The results and the winners were exclusively announced at the Awards Ceremony that took place during the Gala Dinner of the Conference A Circular Future with Plastics in Brussels, France on the 11th June 2024 at the Blue Point Brussels.

It is Vinnolit who won the overall Award - Decarbonisation. Vinnolit also won the PVC category with 92%.

“The Polymer Producer Assessment Awards’ voting in 2024 reached a record number of votes of converters participating. We congratulate Vinnolit on winning the overall award for decarbonsation, and to all the other well-deserved winners”, says Ron Marsh, Chairman of the Alliance, when we ask him his feeling towards this year’s edition.

The EVOH category was won by Mitsubushi Chemicals (92%); HDPE by Formosa Plastics (92%); LLDPE by Dow Chemical (78%); PC by Covestro (77%); PP by Repsol (95%); PVC by Vinnolit (92%) and PS & EPS by INEOS Styrolution (86%).

Most of the winners were present at the ceremony to receive from Ron Marsh, Chairman of the Alliance, and Benoît Hennaut, EuPC President, their award and certificate on stage. About Polymers for Europe Alliance

The Alliance was initiated by the European Plastics Converters association (EuPC) during its General Assembly in May 2015. It is an online, confidential information platform open to all parties who have an interest in the competitive conversion of polymers in Europe. Its objectives are to provide factual public information on the status of the polymer supply situation in Europe and to re-establish a constructive dialogue with the supply base. The initiatives of the Alliance also include the Polymer Producers Awards for Europe, which are now organised on an annual basis. In this Europe- wide online customers’ satisfaction survey all users of polymers in Europe can rate their suppliers of the year.
