At the Plástico Brasil in São Paulo from March 24 to 28 2025, Wittmann will show at its booth No. F080 energy-efficient, resource-saving injection molding machines, automation and auxiliaries to interested trade visitors.
The Brazilian market is one of the most interesting sales markets for the Wittmann Group. Consequently, the Plástico Brasil is an ideal platform for Wittmann to present its technologies to this market.
At this year’s Plástico Brasil, the Group’s local subsidiary, Wittmann Battenfeld do Brasil, will showcase injection molding machines which stand out by their space-saving design and energy efficiency. A special highlight is the option of running with direct current which one of the machines on display has to offer.
On an EcoPower 180/750+ DC powered by a solar battery, hose reel brackets for irrigation systems made of PP from ExxonMobil will be produced, using a 4-cavity mold supplied by Plasnova, Brazil. The parts are removed and deposited with a W921 robot from Wittmann. A Gravimax blender and a G-Max 9 beside-the-press granulator for in-line recycling of the sprue are integrated as part of the system. Moreover, the machine is fitted with the iMAGOxt energy monitoring software.
The second machine to be shown at the Plástico Brasil scores primarily with its space-saving design. It will be a model from the servo-hydraulic MacroPower series, a MacroPower 500/5100, equipped with a Primus 126 robot from Wittmann for depositing parts. On this machine, a frame for a fuse box will be manufactured from PP supplied by ExxonMobil with a 2-cavity mold from Krona, Brazil. Auxiliaries integrated in the system will be a Gravimax blender and a G-Max 23 beside-the-press granulator.
Automation and auxiliaries
In addition to the robots and auxiliaries connected to the machines on display, several stand-alone auxiliary solutions will be shown at the Plástico Brasil as well.
The main focus will lie on temperature control technology. Here, appliances from both the Tempro plus and the Tempro basic series will be exhibited. The temperature controllers from the Tempro plus series are extremely easy to operate and come with a large package of standard equipment. An intelligent temperature control and flow system can be secured by combining these appliances with digital flow controllers such as the WFC or the Flowcon plus for monitoring and/or automatic control of the flow rates.
From its range of dryers, Wittmann Battenfeld do Brasil will present on its booth at the Plástico Brasil the dry air dryer models Drymax plus 60 equipped with the optional EcoDrive frequency controller, and the Drymax basic 60. The dry air dryers from the Drymax series come with two desiccant cartridges and deliver continuous process air of constant dry air quality for perfect drying of plastics granulate. For live demonstration of the iMAGOxt energy management software, some of the auxiliaries are also integrated in addition to the machines.

Dosing technology will be presented directly on the machines with Gravimax models of different s. The gravimetric blenders from Wittmann are easy to operate and stand out by their high-precision metering valves as well as the detachable stainless steel hoppers with corner windows, a removable weighing container and a highly efficient spiral mixer. Even though the material supply to the hoppers is secured by materials handling equipment, the hinged lids of the Gravimax 14 on display facilitate cleaning and reduce the duration of intervention, so that the appliance can immediately start up again.
The material loaders on show include a Feedmax plus with a pneumatic outlet valve for medium-d materials handling systems, and a Feedmax S3 net stand-alone material loader for short-distance conveyance. The appliances are made of stainless steel and offer maximum service lives even with fiberglass-reinforced materials.
