Mr. Stanley Chu, Chairman of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. delivered a welcome speech at the ceremony. He emphasized that, nowadays, the production of plastics machinery in China has ranked first in the world for 15 consecutive years, which is the strong evidence that China is transforming from a large manufacturer to an influential one. In this development process, Chinaplas has made significant contributions in facilitating technical exchanges, trades, and even the collaborations and joint ventures between China and overseas countries. From 2021, Chinaplas will be held in Shenzhen every odd year, in response to the demand of high-end industry development as well as the thriving development of the Greater Bay Area. Ms. Ada Leung, General Manager of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. shared in the speech of “Chinaplas 2021 Show Highlights & Concurrent Events” that there will be 5 key technology areas, namely "5G x Plastics & Rubber" groundbreaking technology, circular economy & green technology, industry 4.0 intelligent technology, high performance materials, engineering plastics and reinforced carbon fiber composite materials, and flexible product design solutions. She also mentioned that the organizer will take every possible step for epidemic prevention and control, to maintain safe and hygienic show environment for all participants. Mr. Ma Jun, General Manager of Shenzhen Zhaohua Int’l Exhibition Operation Co., Ltd. gave a speech on "Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (SWECC) – an Ideal Stage for World Class Exhibitions" and indicated the location advantage of SWECC - the top of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, the center of the Greater Bay Area. Mr. Zhang Yiqing, Office Manager, Shenzhen Airport Customs, introduced in his speech “”On-site + Free of Guaranty" Service with Highest Level" that in order to support this mega exhibition, the Airport Customs directly dispatched personnel to the SWECC. Exhibits entering the country through various means of transportation, no matter by air, land or sea, can go through Customs clearance procedures at the SWECC directly. Moreover, exhibitors are exempted from paying tax deposits during the temporary entry and exit of overseas exhibits, providing the most convenient and efficient services for overseas exhibitors.
Mr. Wang Wenguang, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Shenzhen Polymer Industry Association, expressed his high expectations for the upcoming exhibition in April in "Going Forward Hand in Hand, Together We Create & Share". Due to the postponement amid the epidemic in 2020, Chinaplas is being held again after 2 years. A huge industry demand is ready for take-off.
