EPSE, the European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders, a sector group of EuPC, elected a new president at their last General Assembly on 3rd of March 2015 at the headquarters of EPSE in Brussels.
The members had unanimously elected a new President, Vice-President and Treasurer for the period of 2 years from the year 2015 to 2017. Mr. Hanoch Goldman, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at Palram took over the position after Mr. Jean-Philippe Coste, Managing Director of DS Smith Plastics. Mr Matthew Williams, Managing Director of Polycasa became Vice-President and, Mr. Michel van Acht General Manager of EMEA, SABIC IP SF&S, Treasurer.
"I am very enthusiastic about this nomination and I am happy to continue with the work of my predecessors and to further promote the unique properties of the polycarbonate. In 2015 l we will focus on the EPSE Awards Competition which will take place on the 3rd of November at the Batimat Fair in Paris, and we will further develop the EPSE quality label," said Mr. Hanoch after his election.
EPSE Members welcomed as well officially the new member - Koscon Industrial S.A., a Swiss company manufacturing polycarbonate sheets and systems.
Together with the new member European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders will promote the polycarbonate more effectively and are looking forward for this new cooperation.
EPSE is a sector group of the European Plastics Converters and represents the 11 major polycarbonate sheet producers manufacturing over 120 000 tonnes of polycarbonate sheets every year, as well as 3 resin producers. EPSE comprises more than 1 000 employees and generates a turnover of over 500 million € per year.
