Hasco hot runner has taken a decisive step forward with digital interlinking in mouldmaking: With immediate effect, the proven RFD chip A5910/… will be integrated in a high-grade printed aluminium tag, supplementing the hot runner systems as a valuable aid in the form of the tag H1400/…. The robust component, with compact dimensions of 20x80x4 mm, can be screwed onto the mould and remains permanently connected to it, thereby excluding any possibility of loss or confusion.

The RFID chip can be read out at any time without contact using an NFC-capable end unit. All relevant data such as CAD drawings, part lists, specifications or test protocols can be called up directly via the Hasco App, this can also be done with installed moulds. The service temperature is, as standard, up to 80 °C. At higher temperatures, the tag can be attached without problem to the connection box, for example.

The new RFID chips, type H1400/… will be used with immediate effect not only for hot halves and wired systems, but also hot runners. The required installation space is clearly shown in the data provided in advance and can be taken into account as early as the mould design stage. In this way, the advantages of the technology can also be used if no hot half has been ordered.

A particular advantage is that we can provide the RFID chip on systems that have already been supplied - easily and quickly.

A further highlight is that the digital part lists can now be linked directly to the Hasco online shop. Registered users can thus order spare parts within seconds. Delivery is generally made within 24 hours, which means that downtimes are reduced to a minimum.

The RFID technology is integrated, without extra cost, into new systems and allows a simple, fast and forgery-proof identification. Hasco is thus once again taking measures to ensure intelligent, service-friendly hot runner technology - digital, robust and superbly efficient.
