The New Year meeting that took place in mid-January and was organised by the Plastics Cluster, Business Upper Austria – OÖ Wirtschaftsagentur GMBH, in cooperation with Hasco and Wittmann, was very much focused on networking.
This meeting, attended by around 50 notable representatives of the tool and mouldmaking segment, took place for the first time with a supporting programme that included two visits to local production plants. After gaining an impression of the highly modern injection moulding facility at Wittmann in Kottingbrunn, Hasco Austria welcomed the participants to its location in Guntramsdorf to present some of the latest innovations in the fields of standard mould units and hot runners.
Head Business Development Manager Mario Rödhamer guided the visitors through an interesting programme. Not only did they enjoy the two presentations - one entitled “Standardisation meets digitalisation” from Manuel Weissenbeck / Technical Sales Engineer Mould Base, and the other “Innovative hot runner technology plays a key role in global competition”, from Florian Larisch / Executive Vice President Hasco hot runner, they were also highly enthusiastic about the tour of the Hasco plant and production facilities led by Managing Director, Elfriede Hell.
No other company has shaped the tool and mouldmaking segment as much as Hasco. The year 2024 will now be decisively marked by a very special event. The inventor of the standard mould unit is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and has been able at this event to prove once again that Hasco is the pioneer of mouldmaking - and has been for the last 100 years.
All the participants were able to once again take advantage of the evening dinner together in a pleasant atmosphere in a local restaurant to exchange ideas and information on both a private and a business level. It was indeed a successful event with sufficient time for networking.
