To help celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of its facility in Kutno, Poland, PolyOne welcomed customers and friends from throughout the country to an afternoon of dialogue about the future of manufacturing in Poland, followed by relaxed fun and an evening devoted to the magic of successful collaboration.“It takes perseverance to be successful in this industry. Sometimes a little magic helps, too. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of manufacturing in Kutno, we wanted to update customers and friends on the newest developments we have made in polymer science. They have businesses to run, and need to know what specialty polymers are available to help them overcome challenges in their operations. But we also made time for an evening magic show that really lived up to the theme of the event: the magic of successful collaboration,” said Christoph Palm, vice president, general manager, Color and Additives EMEA & India for PolyOne.
The event kicked off with a presentation by Professor Marek Szostak, director of polymer technology at the
Poznan University of Applied Technology. He spoke about the development of the plastics manufacturing industry in the Poland, and highlighted trends and opportunities for the attendees. His presentation provided an excellent opening into the subsequent presentations from PolyOne, which highlighted the application of the company’s materials in innovative applications.
