The hydraulic injection moulding machine made by Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery GmbH of Schwaig/Germany has been expanded to include a model with a clamping force of 13,000 kN.
In the course of 2011, the Systec machine series will be further expanded to include clamping forces up to 20,000 kN.
The Systec 1300 is available in three configuration levels, viz. Basis, Smart or Performance. From one configuration level to the next, the Systec machines offer increasing performance, enhanced dynamics and additional parallel functions. The processing contractor can choose a configuration level as a function of its performance requirements and moulding specifications.
Up to a clamping force of 1,200 kN, the Systec comes with an all-hydraulic clamping unit, from a clamping force of 1,300 kN with a toggle clamping unit. The Systec series will be available with clamping forces of from 250 through 13,000 kN as from now.
