Processing plastics in all their forms and varieties is no challenge for Vecoplan, the international specialist for recycling technology. At Plastpol, the Polish trade fair for plastics and rubber processing, the German mechanical engineering company will be showcasing its multi-talented VIZ 1300 from 20-23 May 2025. Visitors can find out more about the shredder and the company’s technical innovations at the Vecoplan Stand A23 in Hall 4.
Vecoplan will be exhibiting a real all-round talent at this year’s Plastpol in Kielce, Poland: The Vecoplan VIZ 1300 is one of the machine manufacturer’s most flexible high-performance shredders. It prepares all types of for further processing and is available in many versions. Thanks to customisable rotor and knife configurations and variable screen s, the machine can be precisely adjusted to individual input and output requirements. This makes the VIZ 1300 uniquely flexible.
Unique Vecoplan technology - automatically adjustable counter knives
A special highlight: This shredder can also be equipped with automatically adjustable counter knives. Vecoplan offers this unique technological innovation as a feature for all its shredders, including the VIZ 1300. Operators usually have to manually adjust the cutting gap for each input material. This is necessary to ensure that the quality of the shredded material remains consistent. Any incorrect setting increases energy consumption and impairs the quality of the output. This innovation from Vecoplan automatically adjusts the gap as soon as the shredder is empty, reducing the time required by a factor of ten - manual adjustment is no longer necessary. As a result, the machine is more energy efficient, wear and tear is reduced, service life is significantly extended and performance is greatly increased. These precise and accurately repeatable settings ensure a consistently high level of output quality, regardless of operator experience.
Flexible, more flexible, and now the VIZ 1300
The design of the machine allows users to choose between the HiTorc drive with its powerful start-up phase and high torque, or the ESC, Vecoplan’s belt-driven direct drive. The gearless HiTorc drive generates the torque directly and eliminates wearparts such as clutches, belt drives, flywheels and gears, reducing maintenance requirements to a minimum. The frequency-controlled drive also enables variable speed control and ensures high dynamics when reversing and restarting in the material. Once again, Vecoplan has consistently focused on efficiency and user-friendliness in the control system. “With our VSC.Control system, users can intuitively adjust many machine parameters and monitor operating data in real time - from any standard mobile device,” explains Daniel Wienand, Head of Sales for Europe at Vecoplan. “This not only increases productivity, but also ensures energy-efficient operation.”

In addition to machine presentations, Vecoplan is increasingly focusing on material preparation for chemical recycling processes. Thanks to its innovative dry cleaning technology, Vecoplan is able to optimally prepare input material for chemical recycling processes. A process in which plastics are broken down into their molecular components and reused as a raw material for the production of new plastics, chemical recycling is another option for recycling plastic waste - and it will increase recycling rates in the future. Vecoplan’s team of experts will be on hand at Stand A23 in Hall 4 to provide visitors with comprehensive information about processing methods and the company’s wide range of products.
