New strategic partnership between Axilone, Billion and Watertown Plastics Inc

The current Dollar rate does not make US Business for European companies very easy. Watertown Plastics Inc. based in Connecticut (USA) together with its main customer Axilone - a well-known French manufacturer of cosmetic caps and closures - decided nevertheless to invest in Multi-injection technology from Billion. This strategic choice creates a transatlantic link to bring Know-how from Europe in the USA. The aim is to generate more added values.

Spanish firm Rocersa can now count on a new Sacmi-supplied press, the innovative PH 7500, the latest from the new "Imola" range, high-tonnage presses designed to take the place of the "Power" series that first appeared in 1999. High-Performance Pigment Expansion Project in China

Clariant International Ltd and Zhejiang Baihe Chemical Holding Group today announced the expansion of the Hangzhou Baihe Clariant Pigments Co. LTD joint venture by investing in a world-scale plant for the production of Quinacridone specialty organic pigments. The new plant will be built at the existing joint venture facility located in Hang Zhou City, Zhejiang Province (PRC).

KraussMaffei and Toshiba have signed cooperation agreement

KraussMaffei`s CEO - Dr. Dietmar Straub and Toshiba`s Machine Co., Ltd. - President Mr. Reiji Nakajima, have signed a cooperation agreement to develop leading edge machinery for plastics processing. Both companies have already started joint projects, first results of the cooperation are expected already in 2008.
