Beverage industry needs priority access to its recycled plastic material to close the bottle loop
The non-alcoholic beverage industry, Natural Mineral Waters Europe and UNESDA Soft Drinks Europe, calls on the European Commission for “priority access” to its recycled plastic material, or a similar mechanism that guarantees “right of first refusal”, to be incorporated in the upcoming revision of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive.
