Sumitomo (SHI) Demag will showcase a 420 t PAC-E cell at K 2025, producing 30 ml medication cups in a 48-cavity tool with high-speed extraction. In partnership with Zubler Handling AG and Otto-Hofstetter AG, the setup targets three-second cycles and up to 57,600 cups per hour.
At K 2025, Arburg will present a turnkey cell built around an Allrounder More 2000 that moulds two-colour ABS dominoes in a 32-cavity hot runner tool, with linear handling and a cobot assembling and packing sets.
Campetella Robotic Center will present modular automation, a new medical unit, an AI-enabled HMI platform and automatic winders at K 2025, alongside applications for food packaging, nicotine pouch containers and post‑molding decoration.
Universal Robots unveiled the UR8 Long, a collaborative industrial robot with a 1750 mm reach and 8 kg payload, designed for confined workspaces. The new model debuted at Fabtech and targets applications such as welding and bin picking.
At K 2025, Arburg will present its arburgGREENworld pavilion within the VDMA "The Power of Plastics Forum", focusing on water, circular economy and CO2 reduction. Live demonstrations will include turning HDPE ghost nets into model dolphins and a compact lecture programme with external experts.
