Wittmann Tempro temperature controllers are a cost-effective choice for applications requiring precise temperature control with straightforward operation. At K 2025, Wittmann will present a new controller design with a 120 °C operating temperature.
Proell will feature new screen printing inks and protective lacquers for IMD/FIM at K 2025, Hall 5-C01. Highlights include carbon black-free functional blacks, a faster-curing dual-cure hard coat, UV-curing overprint lacquers and an NIR-accelerated two-component ink system.
At K 2025, Engel will present a Wintec t-win 6500 two-platen injection moulding cell with MuCell physical foaming to produce a mineral-filled PP B‑pillar trim in a 50‑second cycle with material savings. The integrated solution includes digital assistance systems and a viper 20 linear robot.
Golden Compound has introduced certified pastel masterbatches for biodegradable injection moulding materials. Based on Bio-PBS, they are Ok compost home certified, food approved and dosed up to 2%. Combined with GC green 71 MI T30 they enable up to 30% shorter cycles than PP and dishwasher-safe parts.
Wacker will present Elastosil eco LR 5003, a temper-free liquid silicone rubber designed for food-contact applications, at K 2025 in Düsseldorf. The grade meets BfR and FDA limits without postcuring and will be demonstrated in mouthpiece production for air up bottles.
B.IRD Machinery will present compact infrared rotary drum systems for rapid heating and drying of plastics at K 2025. The technology targets pellets, regrind, flakes and powders, citing more than 90% time savings and up to 70% energy savings, with applications in injection moulding, TPU, compounding and recycling.
